It's not the name on the machine, it's the distance you travel and the people you meet that makes a biker. Five countries, fourty eight States, six Provinces, NWT and still rolling. Always looking for new riding partners and friends in the sport.

I thought the entertainment this year was the best of the 5 BBR's I have been to. Freddy and the Axemen and Sweet were absolutely top notch.See what you can do to get both of them back again next year.

One thing I didn't like, was how long it took for the race track to be reconditioned after every 4 or so races. They announced it would take 15-20 minutes. One hour later, they were racing again. When the stopped the second time I didn't bother heading back to the track.

With a few exceptions, the trade show was a disappointment.

Other than those two things, it was great all around.

None are so blind as those who will not see.

I enjoyed the poker run and it was great to see all the riders turn out with the nice weather. The vendors were few in number as were the entries in the show and shine.but those that were present were great.. The comedian would have been much better if he didn't have to compete with all the noise from the whole room and the bar traffic on both nights. Probably not a good thing to combine a social event with a guest speaker. I liked the musical entertainment of Freddie and the axemen and Dr. Hook and even a couple of Sweet's songs at the end. The sound quality at 110db in a stockade building did not do the venue justice but it is what it is. Good security presence helped keep the rowdies in check. I hope it was a successful fundraiser for the Lions.
